the blogging world.

sometimes,

i spend a long time on the computer.

sometimes determined to do something,

and other times, just trying to escape reality.

some people may say i am just rotting my brains away,

but sometimes,

amazing things happen.

about two months ago a sweet scottish girl, laura, entered me in a contest that i could know less about. bluelily photography.

she wrote to wendy whitacre.

and one day when I opened my gmail account I got a long, wonderful email, telling me I had won something that i hadn't even entered.

Laura. You are amazing. I can't thank you enough!

today was the day that I had waited for. man, it was a blast. she is just so full of energy. you can't help but smile when you're around her.

This last week in the blogging world....

I have made some new friends.

It started by simply sending my toe to Gypsy Feet. And that's where I met Laura.

Then I met Megan. A contributer to Gypsy Feet.

And from there I met a Christiana.

3 new friends who all made me so happy about myself.
