baby-palloza

Have I ever told you about my love for babysitting?
well: I do. I truly love babysitting kids.
I love how many jobs I get.
I love it when sometimes I have so many that I have to turn people down.
not that I like telling them no....
it just means that I am a busy woman. ;)
I love the church I go to and the opportunities it gives me.
I love the people who call me and ask me if I'm available.
I really appreciate those calls!
What is your hobby?

gourmet birthday.

for estee's birthday,
chloe and i surprised her with 2 gourmet trays of cupcakes.
mind you. this was her 20th birthday,
so we had to make it something she would remember.

When she walked through the door at 12:30, for a lunch break,
the cupcakes were on the table,
the {3} candles were lit,
and we were singing happy birthday.
she was so surprised.
and so happy.

after that.
estee went back to work like an adult and chloe and i got ready to go to the pool.
when estee got home at 3 we headed out to the {heated} pool.
boy, it was horrible.
and we didn't even get the honey bake tans we all wanted.
because we were only there for about 30 min!

next on our party list was an adventure to Oregano's. mmmmmmm. so good.
2 pastas+1 pazooki+ 3 party animals= good dinner.
so much fun. {thanks mom.}

thanks estee!

flash of the past.

Yesturday after reading Christiana's blog. I rounded up Chloe and we went back to when we were young and naive.... and very creative with our activities.

First we started by dressing up. Maybe not so much like we would have when we were 5-6-7 but it was fun just the same.
with green stalkings you can't go wrong.

Our next activity was VCR dominoes. 15x the size of real dominoes. 5x more fun!

how could we forget about all of these great movies?
we don't want them to go to waste so we make these creations.
soooo sooo fun.

when I was six it was cool to make trails and walk across them. ;)
dum da dum dum dummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...chloe.

This is a webkinz penguin named Zip. Say hello Zip.

Our last activity was to get out those old stuffed animals and look at 'em.
Boy did we have A-LOT!

{thank you for the wonderful idea christiana. sorry we didn't get to the polly pockets or the barbies. or even the fort. we didn't want to scare our visitors with a tornado of toys.}

summmmer.

it's hot.
i'm always sweaty.
i want a pool.
i want to go school shopping.
i love summer monsoons.
especially when they consist of blinding lightning
and thunder that shakes the house.
i am doing pilates everyday.
i am gaining muscle from those pilates.
i have shakes for breakfast.
healthy shakes.
ones with bananas,
strawberries,
blueberries,
and lot's of protein.
school is coming.
8th grade.
oh gosh.
i wish summer would last.
but then again,
i will get board with Full House if summer lasts,
too long.
i am kind of excited for school.
i love summer.
i miss school.
seeing my friends.
hmmmm.
i wish that,
i could feel the excitement of the first day of summer.
again.
thank goodness for friends and family.

Gallup, New Mexico.

Just a couple of days ago,
I got home from a vacation to Gallup to go see all of the cousins and to watch the annual bull riding show. Or as the Native Navajos and my cousins call it, "Wild Thing".
It was crazy fun!
All of the family crowds into Nana's house for 2 days,
Just for the event!
So many kids!
Luckily there is a backyard, and a playroom for the kids to disappear to.
I found the flowers that Nana has so well tended to.
boy are they pretty.

Thanks guys.
Thanks Nana.

Independance

I had a wonderful 4th of July,
A spectacular fireworks show, Micky D's $1 ice-cream, and short lived $3 fireworks from WAL*MART.
I hope you did too.
It was a very sweaty night, but I sure got some cool pictures. :)
I hope you enjoy Beethoven as much as I do. {the musician, not the dog}
